Maple Coffee Kabobs - Game On!

It's summer, we're Canadian and outside of hockey, drinking that other Canadian coffee... Club Coffee we mean.... on those early mornings by the lake, it does not get much more Canuk than Maple Syrup on the BBQ.  So enjoy a classic true north clip from one of our own and check out the savoury sensation of mixing Maply Syrup and our new Whole Bean Coffee

Maple Coffee Kabobs

Kabobs on the barbeque are so much fun, especially when you cook with coffee! Make these the night before, or even prepare while you’re sitting poolside. These are a yummy break from the ordinary burgers and dogs!

You will need:

3 cups cold brewed 100% Columbian Club Coffee

¼ cup pink Himalayan salt

4 tbsp brown sugar

¼ cup pure maple syrup

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

3 lb chicken or beef (or 1.5 lb of both)

Vegetables to layer

Chop and marinate your meat overnight, or while you’re preparing your vegetables. Slice veggies of your choice; zucchini, onions, cherry tomatoes, peppers and more! Layer kabob sticks with meat and different vegetables and bbq until cooked through.

Enjoy and remember to #HAVAJAVA Summer!
